The mission of Mt Shasta Fire Protection District is to provide exceptional emergency services, promote community safety, and enhance the quality of life for all residents.
Mt Shasta Fire Protection District is primarily funded through local taxes. We also receive donations from community members and businesses. Strike Teams assignments also contribute to our mission.
Our response times vary depending on the location and nature of the emergency. However, we strive to arrive on scene within 5-7 minutes of receiving the call.
